Teaching elementary sure is draining :\
During my break I continued on with the lesson on Genesis. Interestingly, the Hebrew word for day, yom, does not necessarily mean a 24 hour day. I had believed it meant a literal 24 hour day. The word has multiple meanings. It can mean any period of time. However, since the Scriptures also say, "evening and the morning, the X day," that pushes me to reason that it means 24 hours :)

Happy Belated New Year :)

The following are some notes I took from a textbook I'm reading. I graduated and am still not employed full-time. I haven't been the best steward of my time, but am making a sincere effort. Although I'm not excusing slothfulness, I'm not going to beat myself up. Christianity is a race; the important part is starting to run again after you realize you're not moving!
